How have you found the shift from sailing to motoring? My husband and I, being big, big sailors, have sailed all over the world with Kokomo, Zefira and Ribelle so, for me, a motor boat was a funny idea. However, I saw that we can also enjoy the sea with a motor boat. The recipe is very simple: not too big and not too small, not too modern and also not too quick. When I’m on board I always ask not to go more than 10 to 11 knots. This speed allows us to enjoy the same panoramas of sea and stars we used to have on our sailing boats with no noise from our small engines. There are not as many worries with a motor boat, but it brings the same joy of the sea.
